Swear Alert
The following blog entry contains swears. I'm sorry, sometimes I can't help it.
Susan Sarandon says in this article:
It's terrifying to me to feel the fear that exists now in the United States to even question anything for fear of being labelled anti-American.
Doesn't anybody know how to ask a fucking follow-up question? "Ms. Sarandon, you imply that there is some form of repression of your views taking place in the United States. Would you care to provide examples?"
The only repression she's feeling is internal, and it's because she's afraid of sounding stupid. This is obviously the first time in her life that she's felt that discretion is required in speaking about something she's not qualified to discuss. That's a good feeling, Susan. Run with it. But it ain't repression.
