Week 10 Weigh-In

Considering the amount of mindless eating I did this week, this is not an unexpected result. Not even close to quitting though. My elliptical workouts have become more of a habit...I really feel off kilter if I don't do them.

About 10 days in, I made it past the phase where I first start to get results, feel a little better, and think, "Well, that was easy! Time to get back to my old eating ways!"

And last week, I made it past the phase where I have lost a few pounds, started some really good habits, and catch a glimpse at myself in the mirror and notice just how far I have to go and become totally disheartened. "This is going to take forever! Life is too short to worry about this crap! You'll never get all this stuff off you!"

I got past it. A hearty, "To heck with you, stupid voice in my head" and I'm still hanging with it.
