« Best Christmas Present Ever | Main | That's Nice. »

It's a Bovious Christmas!

Mine was good but intensely exhausting. Up with the kids before 8 (I'm betting Annie will get us up earlier next year.) Presents with the kids. We got Will the BC Rich Warlock Promo (it looks like this but with a sort of pointy Telecaster head stock and considerably cheaper.) And Annie loves her Barbie Shower Play.

We had brunch for the whole hee-haw Jones family at 10:00. My brother brought me a beautiful bottle of hooch! Thanks, man!

A slight respite, then to the Ramfos family gathering for dinner.

Headache started around 6:00. Home by 8:00.

Kids went to bed with no problem. Despite headache, I stayed up to watch "Door To Door." Blubbered like a baby. I'm reexamining the movie now to figure out why it affected me so, but I'm guessing the best answer will be, because I needed it to.

Tasha's using some gift certificates I got to buy me the Looney Tunes Golden Collection DVD set today. Yee-haw!

Looney Tunes! Just the greatest. Look out for the little crow guy--he has a little musical figure that is his signature, it haunts me.

A happy Boxing Day to you and yours.

That's one of the ugliest guitars I've ever seen. But at Will's age, he probably thinks it's way cool.

Liz: Thanks for the visit, come again soon.

Guy: Yes, Will really digs on it.

Yeah, the Looney Tunes collection looks inviting. However, I was concerned when I read that "What's Opera, Doc?" wasn't included in it. I'm sure there's lots of other good stuff, but that one is essential. Perhaps an "extended version" will be released later? Kill the Wabbit!

Kenzie gave me the "Concert for George" DVD. Wonderful and moving, even for non-Beatle freaks (?).

I suspect they'll have more DVD's out next year or so.

If you're interested in the Golden Collection beware: there are also, apparently, two DVD sets out that each contain two of the four DVD's in the Golden Collection. Tasha came home with one of those so I had to brave Border's again to get the right thing. (Mmmm...Cappucino!)

This set has "Hypo-chondri-cat," a (much) lesser Claude Cat effort than the one I was hoping to see, "Mouse Wreckers." So there's plenty of material for more DVD's!

(See http://toolooney.toonzone.net/claude.htm for info on Claude.)

Note to Guy: Also missing is "Little Red Riding Rabbit." That would be a good one for the next DVD set - TO HAVE!

Speaking of animated, anybody checked out "Waking Life" I think by Linkletter. Viddyed the DVD of "The Kid Stays in the Picture" also.

Evan and I had two perfect days at St. George at my attornery's rented beach house "Sea Dream". Amazing stars at night! I had not experienced that yet, even though I had been to the area before.

Happy New Yeats!
